Battery brands STC Ride and STC Energy, under Shree STC Group, have expanded their engagement with the country’s sports sector by appointing three members of the Nepali Women’s National Football Team as official brand ambassadors.
The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony held recently at the premises of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
The event marked the official collaboration between the company and national women footballers Rekha Poudel, Manmaya Damai, and Deepa Shahi.
Under the agreement, national team forward Rekha Poudel and emerging talent Deepa Shahi will represent STC Ride, while national team player Manmaya Damai has been appointed as the brand ambassador for STC Energy.
All three players have been recognized for their consistent performances in domestic and international competitions, contributing significantly to the development and visibility of Nepali women’s football.

Their inclusion as brand ambassadors is expected to further highlight the growing influence of women athletes in Nepal’s sporting landscape.
Shree STC Group, which operates in Nepal’s automotive and energy sector, stated that its STC Ride and STC Energy batteries are fully locally-manufactured products.

The company emphasized that its manufacturing process is tailored to local road conditions, climate, and consumer requirements, positioning its batteries as durable and reliable solutions for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and power backup systems.

Speaking at the event, Surendra Kumar Uprety, Managing Director of STC Group and President of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, expressed pride in collaborating with national athletes. He stated that the initiative aims to promote sports, encourage youth participation, and strengthen long-term support for Nepali talent.
